Our Menu

Join us on a vegan journey through Portugal

At Plantuguese, our dishes all have that Portuguese vibe – warm, coastal and flavourful. Our mission is to create delicious, enriching and compassionate food that takes you on a journey of taste and discovery.

Our Stokes Croft restaurant will transport you from Bristol to Lisbon with its Portugal- inspired décor and distinctive vegan menu. Portuguese cuisine realised through a plant-based lens, all our dishes are rich in flavour and unique in texture, combining traditional comforts with modern takes. We offer small plates, main dishes, sharers, starters and sides – as well as refreshing, expertly designed cocktails.

Fresh and sustainable ingredients are a priority here, and we strive to stay true to Portuguese flavours. The popular lion’s mane steak will have you disbelieving it’s plant based, and the scallops and cod reimagined for a vegan world will take you straight to the Mediterranean. The perfect way to end the meal, our now-famous pastel de natas are a must try.

We want you to enjoy our food whatever the occasion – from a romantic date night to a casual lunch with friends or a birthday celebration – our vibrant and welcoming vegan restaurant is suited to any event.

Book a table now and join us on a unique culinary journey, where traditional Portuguese food meets an inspiring plant-based future.
